Designed to celebrate Holden’s 50th anniversary of factory involvement in motorsport, this eye-catching livery featured horizontal heritage stripes over the roof, a design element from the 1971 Holden Dealer Team livery.

Piloted by Shane van Gisbergen and Garth Tander, the 2019 Bathurst 1000 campaign was nothing short of dramatic. SVG started third on the grid directly behind polesitter and eventual race winner Scott McLaughlin on the grid, setting the stage for an intense trans-Tasman showdown.

The race reached fever pitch with just three laps to go when a late safety car intervention set up a one lap sprint to the chequered flag. The #97 in the end fell just short - McLaughlin and Premat taking the win by 0.68 seconds.
