What is a Model Car Pre-Order?

A model car pre-order is an order placed for a model car which has not yet been released, however an allocation for stock is available for purchase. It is the customer’s responsibility to read and understand the information below before proceeding to place a pre-order.

When you pre-order a model car from the V8 Sleuth Superstore and pay a deposit, it is reserved exclusively for you and the order is placed with the manufacturer.

While where possible we give indicative timelines for delivery here on our pre-order status page, please note that most model cars do not have set dates for releases and we cannot control any changes by manufacturers on the delivery date.

Can I cancel my model car pre-order?

Model car pre-orders cannot be cancelled as a special order has been made exclusively for you which means your item is already in production.

Model car pre-order deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable for other store products or credit.

Final pre-order payments

When the model car is arriving in stock, we will send you a final invoice for payment. Final payment must be made within 30 days of the date of the invoice or your order and deposit will be forfeited.
