In the closing stages of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship, Dick Johnson Racing confirmed they would part ways with Will Davison at season’s end.
With the BP Adelaide Grand Final now run and done, the two-time Bathurst 1000 winner’s tenure with DJR has officially drawn to a close.
Davison departs the team - and likely full-time competition - as one of the sport’s enduring stars. His 604 Supercars Championship race starts place him behind only Craig Lowndes, Garth Tander, Mark Winterbottom and James Courtney on the all-time list.
After a breakout stint with DJR between 2006 and 2008, Davison returned in 2021 following the departure of Scott McLaughlin, Fabian Coulthard and Team Penske. Across his two periods with the iconic Ford squad, he claimed five of his 22 career wins and 12 of his 29 poles.
His broader championship record speaks for itself: 81 podiums, 151 top-fives, 318 top-tens and three top-three championship finishes.
Will Davison is a legend of Supercars, and we’re incredibly proud to be replicating his final DJR Mustang for fans and collectors.
This 1:18 scale model is scheduled to be produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts which includes the bonnet and both the driver and passenger doors.
A highly detailed racing cockpit can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet includes a detailed 5.4-litre Coyote quad overhead cam V8 and engine bay surround. Underneath the model, the undercarriage details the unique Gen3 floorpan.
Comprised of roughly 204 individual metal and plastic parts, with anywhere between 100-200 steps in paint and decoration finishing, including tampo printing where possible, photo etched parts including the bonnet pints, brake rotors and more, this is a high quality, detailed collectors model.
It will come in an exclusive, one-off limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity presented in its own protective cardboard folder.
