This triumph capped off an incredible season where Brown achieved a 40-year first, finishing on the podium at every single round of the ATCC/Supercars Championship – a feat achieved not achieved since Dick Johnson way back in 1984.
The season finale, the VAILO Adelaide 500, delivered one of the most dramatic races of the year. After being spun on Lap 9 and dropping back to 22nd place, Brown staged a spectacular comeback.
He powered through the field to claim an unforgettable race victory on the day he was presented with the championship trophy.
