This is a 1:18 diecast scale model Ford Mustang GT as driven by Chaz Mostert at the 2024 Sydney SuperNight.

Walkinshaw Andretti United celebrated the global 50th anniversary of Mobil 1 with a special livery on their Ford Mustang GT Supercars at the 2024 Sydney SuperNight. This milestone was commemorated with a striking design that paid homage to the long-standing partnership between the racing team and the renowned lubricant brand.

The livery for both the number 25 and 2 Mustangs raced by Chaz Mostert and Ryan Wood featured a sleek black base, with gold Mobil 1 logos and the return of the Pegasus, the instantly recognised Mobil 1 horse with wings, above the Mobil 1 logo on the bonnet. It’s the first time the Pegasus had been seen on a Walkinshaw car since 1999.

Stylised gold numerical graphics and dynamic lines accentuated the design, and worked incredibly well with the added colours of the teams co-major partners. Teal stripes for Optus on car 25 and the orange of Truck Assist on car 2, gave both cars a distinctive appearance on the track.

The Sydney SuperNight event provided a perfect stage for this celebration, with the vibrant lights and dynamic atmosphere of night racing amplifying the visual impact of the special livery.

It was made even more special with a dominant performance at the hands of star driver Chaz Mostert, winning both races 15 and 16 for the round, in what was the teams first clean sweep in a multi race weekend since 2010. Rookie driver Ryan Wood also represented the livery well, topping the P1 timesheets and making an appearance in the important top-10 shootout for the Sunday race.

It is scheduled to be produced in an exclusive, one-off limited edition die-cast model. Featuring opening parts including the bonnet, driver and passenger doors, a detailed racing cockpit, engine bay, and Gen3 undercarriage. The model will come with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
