Driving for Mobil 1 Racing, Brock powered the VN Commodore to a historic result in the season opener at Amaroo Park, the first Holden Australian Touring Car Championship race win since 1986, and Brock's last ATCC race win in a car with a Holden engine (as opposed to the Chevrolet).
