Celebrate the early years of Perkins Engineering with this superb 1:18 scale diecast replica of the Holden VL Commodore SS Group A, proudly backed by Casio sponsorship, and driven by Larry Perkins in the support races to the 1987 Australian Grand Prix in Adelaide.

This was the third race meeting for this car after runs at the Calder and Wellington World Touring Car Championship rounds. Perkins battled fiercely against a competitive field of Ford Sierras, Nissan Skylines, and Holden VK Commodores before finishing a strong 3rd place behind Dick Johnson and George Fury. It was a milestone moment for Perkins, coming just a year after he had branched out to form his own team, Perkins Engineering.

This premium model authentically recreates that historic Commodore in striking detail. Every element has been carefully crafted, including the intricately reproduced race-spec Holden V8 engine under the bonnet. The fully opening diecast body reveals a race-prepared interior complete with roll cage, race seat and harness, and a finely detailed fuel system in the boot.

Expertly engineered and officially licensed, this model also features poseable front wheels, rubber tyres, and photo-etched detailing.
