The 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000 was a true classic, delivering all the drama, excitement, and unpredictability that only Bathurst can offer – from changing weather and Safety Cars to bold strategy calls and a heart-stopping finish.
After qualifying 15th, David Reynolds’ hopes for a wet race were rewarded, as he carved his way through the chaos to claim an incredible runner-up finish alongside co-driver Lee Holdsworth in the #20 Tradie Energy Racing Chevrolet Camaro.
In the final laps, Reynolds hunted down leaders James Golding, Matt Payne, and Cooper Murray in a tense, wheel-to-wheel battle, ultimately crossing the line second to Payne in one of the most thrilling Bathurst finishes in recent memory.
The #20 Camaro’s new livery celebrated Tradie’s zero-sugar G’Day Grape flavour, making this 2nd-place finish even sweeter and will display nicely alongside the previously announced yellow and pink Tradie Energy editions from earlier this year.
The runner-up finish also represents Team 18's first Bathurst 1000 podium finish in an important milestone for the team.
