Celebrate this classic era of the Mountain classic with this 1970 XW Falcon from Classic Carlectables.
This #53 John Goss/Bob Skelton example set the fastest lap time of the 1970 Hardie-Ferodo 500, a 2 minute 53 second time.
After qualifying 32nd on the grid, this car was the first Falcon home after the 1-2 finish by the Ford factory team. Goss/Skelton finished 9th, 3 laps behind winner Allan Moffat.
It was the third of 10 Bathurst 500/1000 starts for Skelton, who had 10 different co-drivers in those 10 races, this finish representing the first of five top-10 finishes from those 10 races.
For Goss, it was the first of his four top-10 Bathurst enduro finishes - with two of those four being race wins.
Classic Carlectables have produced this model in a limited edition of 400. An ideal model for old school Bathurst collectors, Ford and John Goss fans. We have a very limited allocation, and once sold out, there will be no more!
