This is a 1:18 diecast scale model Holden Commodore ZB as driven by Craig Lowndes in his last full time Supercars round at the Coates Hire Newcastle 500 in 2018.
Lowndes announced that he would be stepping down from full-time racing at the end of the 2018 season. Lowndes ended his full-time career with seven podium finishes in his final season, and two race wins, including a victory with Steven Richards in the 2018 Bathurst 1000.
Remaining competitive until the end, he ended his final championship title fourth, only behind Scott McLaughlin, Shane van Gisbergen and Jamie Whincup.
Having joined Triple Eight Race Engineering in 2005, Lowndes achieved his most successful times with Triple Eight Race Engineering – including 12-straight top 4 finishes in the Championship and six Bathurst 1000 wins.
To honour such an incredible career, the #888 Autobarn ZB was presented in stunning metallic gold and black livery. The impressive livery was a surprise, even to Craig Lowndes, and was finished off with a special gold helmet and race suit for the veteran's 294th Championship round as a full-time driver.
